A walk through the trees: taking your eyes higher

Did you see a mushroom this morning? This walk invites you to rediscover the urban environment by focusing your attention on living creatures that are often overlooked: mushrooms and lichens in particular.
From the very beginnings of life on earth, living beings of all kinds have constantly forged relationships with one another. From parasitism to mutual symbiosis, everything is interrelated. The Earth is home to an immense community, an extraordinary network of living beings linking us all together. In keeping with the MEG's temporary exhibition, this walk in an urban environment invites us to focus on this "Being together" as it is realised in fungi and more particularly in lichens.

Avez-vous vu un champignon ce matin ? Cette balade vous propose de re-découvrir l'environnement urbain en mettant votre attention sur des êtres vivants souvent ignorés : les champignons et plus particulièrement les lichens.
Dès l'origine de la vie sur terre, les êtres vivants, quels qu'ils soient, n'ont cessé de tisser des relations entre eux. Du parasitisme à la symbiose mutuelle, tout est relations. La Terre héberge une immense communauté, un réseau extraordinaire du vivant, nous reliant les uns aux autres.
En résonnance à l'exposition temporaire du MEG, cette balade en milieu urbain invite à se focaliser sur cet «Être ensemble» tel qu'il est réalisé chez les champignons et plus particulièrement chez les lichens.
Attention : le départ de la balade ne se fait pas au MEG, mais à l'arrêt de tram Blanche.
