To mark the 10th anniversary weekend of the MEG's new building, storyteller and author Bessa Myftiu is coming to tell some tales and the famous Albanian legend of Bessa, taken from a book by her mother, Elsa Myftiu.

One of the tales will also be told in Albanian.

This event is open to all French-speaking people aged 6 and over.

Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before the start of the activity at the MEG library on the Museum's 2nd floor.

Bessa Myftiu, born in Tirana, is a novelist, poet, storyteller, journalist, essayist, translator, scriptwriter and actress. After studying literature in her home country, she became a university literature professor and then a journalist. She has lived in Switzerland since 1991. The author of poems, novels, short stories and essays, she has also written film scripts, including the feature film Ullka, a Swiss-Albanian co-production in which she plays the lead role. Bessa Myftiu also translated L'Ecrivain, a novel by her father, the dissident Mehmet Myftiu, from Albanian into French.
