"Gothic art, a force of expression that has spanned the centuries" by Gunilla Lapointe
Encompassing all arts and all eras, the conference shows the different languages of Gothic art. From its birth in Île-de-France and Picardy in the 12th century to the present day, Gothic art has a force of expression that has spanned centuries. The gothic imaginary is constantly renewed in counterculture, punk and metal music, or even in contemporary art. On the occasion of the exhibition at the Louvre-Lens museum, 25 September 2025 - 26 January 2026.
Rates: €5 for the Friends of La Piscine / €8 normal rate / €3 students and job seekers
The lectures are given on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Daniel Motte auditorium at La Piscine (it is wise to arrive a little early).

"L'art gothique, une force d'expression qui a traversé les siècles" par Gunilla Lapointe
Englobant tous les arts et toutes les époques, la conférence montre les différents langages de l’art gothique. De sa naissance en Île-de-France et en Picardie au XIIème siècle jusqu’à nos jours, l’art gothique a une force d’expression qui a traversé les siècles. L’imaginaire gothique est sans cesse renouvelé dans la contre-culture, la musique punk et metal, ou même en art contemporain. À l’occasion de l’exposition au musée du Louvre-Lens 25 septembre 2025 - 26 janvier 2026.
Tarifs : 5€ pour les Amis de La Piscine / 8€ tarif normal / 3€ étudiants et demandeurs d’emploi
Les conférences sont données le dimanche à 15h 30 à l’auditorium Daniel Motte à La Piscine (il est prudent d’arriver un peu à l’avance).

"Gotische kunst, een uitdrukkingskracht die de eeuwen heeft doorkruist" door Gunilla Lapointe
De conferentie omvat alle kunst en alle tijdperken, toont de verschillende talen van de gotische kunst Vanaf de geboorte in Ile-de-France en Picardië in de 12e eeuw tot heden heeft de gotische kunst een expressiekracht die de eeuwen heeft doorkruist. De gotische verbeelding wordt voortdurend vernieuwd in de contracultuur, punk en metal muziek, of zelfs in de hedendaagse kunst Ter gelegenheid van de tentoonstelling in het Musée du Louvre-lens 25 september 2025 - 26 januari 2026.
Prijzen: 5€ voor vrienden van het zwembad / 8€ normaal tarief / 3€ studenten en werkzoekenden
Lezingen worden gegeven op zondag om 15 uur 30 in het Daniel Motte auditorium bij het zwembad (het is verstandig om een beetje van tevoren te arriveren).
