Testifying to the evolution of science and education, these objects illustrate the quality and originality of the training provided in Périgueux in one of the first public high schools in the region. As part of the European Heritage Days, the institution will exceptionally open its doors to discover this collection as well as some areas of the high school.
After a 30-minute guided tour, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy an animation led by a Cap-Sciences facilitator, allowing them to discover a contemporary physics experience for about 20 minutes.
This initiative is co-organized by the school city Bertran-de-Baine, the heritage and inventory service of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, as well as the service «City and Country of art and history» of the city of Périgueux. A unique opportunity to delve into the scientific and educational history of this prestigious institution during the European Heritage Days.
