Of origins in 1936, the castle was never sold; he(it) always stayed in the same family by successions. The quality of its furniture (of Renaissance in restoration(catering)) and the wealth of its numerous portraits of family endow it with the particular(special) charm of a lived house.
Carrouges is a brick-built entirely built building. These have characteristic to be cooked in ovens thought in the flight(volley), as millstones of charcoal, what gives them a very soft tint of discoloured rose on which play the nuances of light and of reflexions of staves(moats).
