Visit of the medieval garden of Saliès
The garden "les Clausous" is a garden of medieval inspiration.
It will open its doors on Friday for the children of the school of Salies.
This sensory experience will allow to discover "the five senses in the garden": 1) The view: observe the hortus conclusus in its symmetry (the hortus, the garden of Mary, the garden of our fathers) presented as a whole by Dominic.
2) Ears: listen to the birds singing on the way to "under" all along the hedge with Cecile.
follow the "water circuit" with Marjorie, listening to the tumult of waterfalls and the murmur of water flow...
3) Smell: smell the scents on the "Sentier des Menthes" and smell the aromatic plants in the hortus.
4) Taste: Jean Louis will tell the great story of bees and honey:
The bee through pollination works with respect to the abundance of food for the survival of humanity.
5) The touch: feeling the different textures that the garden offers us like the bark of trees, the velvety leaves of coquelourdes, the prick of hawthorn...
The rest of the weekend:
As every year visitors can discover "Dame Johanne" and its workshops of illuminations, tales and medieval songs.
The "Ladies" of the acceuil will offer you a raffle, the sale of products for the benefit of the association (lavender, bouquets of flowers)... the "duck fishing" in "the wash house" for the little ones...
A warm and friendly welcome will be reserved for you by the whole team of "Clausous"
