The starting point is simple: sowing, watering, sharing… according to the principles of operation of the Incredible Edibles, born in Todmorden, in 2008, in a small industrial town in the North of England… And to do this, invest in public places, and call on donations of seeds of plants, materials.. to offer vegetables and fruits to all.
This is how two large unoccupied lawns of the Centre Hospitalier de Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Life have been transformed for 4 years, with the benevolence of the Hospital’s managers, and the help of various partners (the CAUE-85, the Centre Professionnel Pour Adultes du Lycée Nature de la Roche sur Yon, the Association des Paralysés de France) in a participatory orchard-vegetable garden, mixing flowers, vegetables, small and large fruit trees...
Our garden offers its colours, flavours, fragrances, and a variety of tactile sensations, for anyone who wants to enjoy it: residents of the EHPAD and the AMAD, residents who come as neighbours, children from school
