On the occasion of the Rendez-vous aux jardins, come to attend a guided tour of one hour during which the team of the green spaces of the hospital center La Chartreuse (CHLC) invites you to discover the riches of the park of the establishment, a preserved environment in the heart of downtown Dijon.
The CHLC is located on a site of 25 hectares including 15 hectares of green spaces maintained by the Green Spaces Department of the establishment. The whole site is laid out according to the work with the objective of enhancing and diversifying the plant heritage and biodiversity. The CHLC was the first hospital in France to obtain the «Eco jardin» label. Currently, the park has 800 trees, some of which are remarkable for their age and size. The environment is also very flowery and a stream classified as a prefectural fish reserve flows within the park. The establishment collaborates with many partners such as the League of Bird Protection, the National Office of Forests, the Departmental Fishing Federation or the museum Jardin des Science de l'Arquebuse.
