Uncle Vania of Anton Chekhov Serebriakov, a renowned academic, married to a young woman, Elena, chose to retire to the family estate, away from everything. The arrival of the couple breaks the balance of those who worked until then day by day. Community quickly becomes impossible: by accumulating emotional, intellectual and sexual frustrations, the characters are caught up by their destructive demons.
