By the Company, Hey! Psst!
1891, Vincent Van Gogh died a few months ago, his brother Theo, followed him quickly to the grave. One painted, the other financed. There remain hundreds of paintings that are worthless, and an abundant letter between the two brothers.
Based on real historical elements, the play actually tells five stories. That of Johanna Van Gogh, at first, widow of Theo who discovers little by little the strength of the work of her brother-in-law Vincent and that of a friend, Emile Bernard, very eager to save Van Gogh from oblivion.
The play proposes the meeting between these two brilliant minds. Scholarly, playful, fine and passionate conversation. Especially that of a work and especially that of its author: Who was really Vincent Van Gogh, the man?
