Independent walks - Maison du Parc
Autonomous walks:
Maison du Parc, 225 allée Antoine Pinay: The Rhône islands are the largest island area in Europe. A green lung with real landscape, heritage and agricultural riches that the City wishes to highlight, facilitating accessibility and promoting the preservation of the environment. A digital greenway is planned, including the creation of the Maison du Parc. It occupies the communal building located 225 allée Antoine Pinay, just opposite the Pont, where the director of the Pont campsite once lived. The House is the welcome point for those who will take the future greenway. A meeting place, open to the public from April to October. A terrace in robinia wood (rot-proof and requiring no treatment) is equipped with an access ramp for people with reduced mobility. On the ground floor, a reception area with digital information terminals and a room dedicated to exhibitions or workshops around the Rhône islands (tourist assets, flood risk management, etc.). Discover insects in the spotlight at the Maison du Parc: Cécile Miraglio, children’s author-illustrator, will unveil her illustrations featuring 50 "little animals".
On Friday morning, May 31, school children will come to plant and bloom the garden.
