As part of the national days of «Rendez-vous to the gardens», the CAUE offers to discover the Jardins de la Fontaine with a landscaper of the CAUE du Gard.
Solving the puzzles will lead the participants to the highest point to discover a balcony over the city. An opportunity to learn more about the history of this garden from its creation to its current role in the life of Nîmes.
«The five senses in the garden» being the official theme of «Rendez-vous 2024», special attention will be paid to the discovery of this remarkable park.

Public gardens created in the XVIIIth century by Jacques Philippe Mareschal, military engineer of the king Louis XV, on the location of a sanctuary of the roman time.
