The first inhabitants of the Diamond: "The people of the Civilization of bitter cassava" were hunters, gatherers, cultivators. They practiced "cultivation on brulis", introduced many fruits on the island cured by plants so the plant had a very important place in their lives. Schools from the "5 senses in the garden" will discover differently the Amerindians.

This garden is located in the village of a seaside town since 2017\. It is organized and run by members of a family association that offers gardening workshops to adults and children. Several activities are offered throughout the year including music festival, Pink October, Christmas, carnival and many others.
