The 5 senses at the castle

Discover through the 5 senses the park and garden of Voltaire! For more than 1 hour, the gardener of Voltaire will make you discover the domain of the great philosopher thanks to many playful and sensory activities. Learn with him to listen to the sounds of Nature and observe the fauna and flora of his home. With Voltaire and his gardener, it has never been easier to cultivate your garden! A guided tour of the castle can also be offered after this sensory walk! Reservation required.

In Ferney, near the regional nature park of the Top - Swore to the West and from Geneva to the South, just a step away from the Swiss border, discover the domain where Voltaire crossed(spent) twenty last years of its life. The castle of Voltaire was built by the writer from 1758 till 1766\. In the 7 hectare park offering an exceptional panorama on the Mont Blanc in good weather, a bend stands out under the arbour where Voltaire wanted to walk. A complete restoration(catering) of the building(ship) is currently under way.
