Every year, the first weekend of June celebrates all the gardens with the Rendez-vous aux Jardins national event. The 2024 edition opens on sensory dimensions.
The Museum of Toulouse offers a varied program for the whole family: visits, workshops and readings, will allow you to walk the Botanical Garden Henri Gaussen to discover pigments, smells and flavors, through the lens of chemistry and human perception.
What molecules give plants these properties and how can humans exploit them in the context of cosmetics and seduction?
Free admission to the Henri Gaussen Botanical Garden from 10am to 6pm. Direct access via the Jardin des Plantes.

On registration the same day, all public from 7 years, 20 participants (duration: 45 min).

[STOP_TRANSLATION]Agréé JBFPF (jardin botanique de France et des pays francophones), le jardin en spirale ethnobotanique de 5 000 m2, permet une redécouverte de la vie des plantes adaptées aux milieux, une exploration des relations entre monde végétal et monde animal et des phénomènes démontrant l'unité du monde vivant. Collection botanique de 1 000 taxons incluant les plantes menacées de Midi-Pyrénées qui prend place sur une spirale de 50 m de diamètre et d'une longueur développée de 365m, subdivisée en plusieurs thèmes. Collections en serre : forêt tropicale, plantes des milieux arides, carnivores, tropicales à usages médicinal, alimentaire ou industriel. Collections d'agrumes.
