Le Jardin à Table
Combine garden and ephemeral table d'hôte to enjoy desserts based on aromatic plants . A moment of culinary discovery by revisiting recipes of pancakes, creams, cakes scented with aromatic herbs and essences (sage, bay leaves, rose water, saffron, basil, thyme) served with fresh mint tea and home-made lemonades. The sound atmosphere will consist of birdsong, the sound of bees, the rustling of leaves. The general atmosphere will consist in associating words (poetry and the tale of the bee) and smells (lavender or jasmine type plants) related to the theme of nature. Visitors will be invited to actively participate in this interaction: by reading excerpts from poems about the garden, describing their feelings after touching and tasting these plants and dishes and sharing their impressions by translating them into words or drawings on small papers on the table and/ or in words. In short, a menu to recall the essential and accessible benefits of the garden.
