Jardin de Las Muraillès
32300 Idrac-Respailles
Farm fortifier of the thirteenth century above the Petite Baïse, surrounded by meadows, a wooded strip along the river, very old hedges, a pond and a vegetable garden below with a stream along it. You discovered a remarkable panorama on the Pyrenees. The environment off property: wood, perennial meadows and organic crops. Ancient cypresses line a path giving the place a little air of Tuscany. All over a few hundred hectares. This place initially in ruins is gradually planted melliferous species. a large part of the property remains silted leaving room for wild fauna and flora.
So we rub shoulders with roe deer, foxes, hedgehogs, weasels, butterflies, ketones, lucanes, bumblebees, bees, toads, frogs, salamanders, green lizards... In winter, the feeders welcome hundreds of birds.
