Come and awaken your senses in the garden of Barthes located in an enchanting natural setting. Turn off your phones, forget the noisy civilization and come to immerse yourself in a plant profusion and listen to the songs of nature.

The painter Julia Baucou exhibits her paintings inspired by the garden.
Julia Baucou is a self-taught painter whose favourite subject is vegetation. In 2014, the lush vegetation of Reunion Island will inspire the exhibition «Graphic expression of plant motif» presented at the botanical conservatory of mascarins in St Leu.
This year Nathalie Payens opens the doors of her sublime garden of Barthes where she comes to draw for several months. The result is a series of paintings to be discovered on June 1 and 2 for the Rendez-vous aux jardins
Gwenael Lafitte, musician composer plays his works, also inspired by the garden.
Gwenael Lafitte is a guitarist graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA) and holds a D.E in Jazz. Composer and arranger he navigates in very varied musical aesthetics and has to his credit two solo albums and many international collaborations.
In the garden of Barthes he came with his classical guitar for 6 months to be inspired, to listen, to feel the strength of plants and the beauty of the place imagined and created by Nathalie Payens. 11 compositions are born from these privileged moments that he will return to you on June 1 and 2, 2024.
