Visible all year round, accessible under conditions, seat of cultural and musical events including, in summer, «Les Mardis du Wihr», the Garden of the Book of Valff is intended to support an interreligious dialogue in a vegetal setting conducive to the awakening of the curiosity of the other and mutual respect. Current ecological issues and eco-citizen actions are also part of our approach. The Garden of the Book of Valff belongs to the category of Biblical Gardens. The three main monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, are sometimes referred to as «Religions of the Book». The Garden of the Book revives the great episodes of these religions throughout a vegetal journey structured on these themes. The plants installed are directly drawn or inspired from the sacred writings. Nearly twenty places are set up for this purpose: the seven main species (fig, olive, pomegranate, etc.) make up Paradise; the oak and tamarisk are reminiscent of Abraham; thorns and roses symbolize
