The association of the words history and memorial translates the historical and memorial dimensions that the Historial combines with its two museums in Péronne and Thiepval, in the Somme. Internationally renowned Museum of Comparative History, the Historial in Péronne crosses the visions of the belligerents, from the Avant to the Post-War, with an exceptional collection of objects, original documents and works of art including the 50 engravings of Otto Dix. Since 2014, the Historial has been renewed and opens new spaces.
