Come and discover the garden, with your 5 senses awake: colorful blooms, birdsong and buzzing insects, and a variety of plants to touch, smell, taste ... Also on the program of this day: observation of insects, and in particular pollinators that will be in full activity. With a smartphone or a digital camera, we will be able to learn about the participatory science program SPIPOLL (photographic monitoring of pollinating insects) led by the Museum of Natural History and the association OPIE (Office for Insects and their Environment). You can bring your picnic to share a moment of conviviality.

About the location

Jardin de Lucienne
5 rue des Vignes 95640 Marines
  • Val-d'Oise
  • Île-de-France
This garden was bequeathed to the association Connaître et Protéger la nature de la Vallée du Sausseron by a member who died in 2020, for the preservation of biodiversity to which she was very attached. It includes many fruit trees (3 apple, 3 pear, 1 cherry, 4 plum, 3 peach, 1 fig), some very old with traditional varieties, red fruits, areas of spontaneous meadow, an old vegetable garden etc... By the presence of old trees, diversified shrubs, multiple uses (gardening areas, regular mowing with export, wilder spaces) varied plant communities have settled. This garden is intended to host activities for all, including family, on different themes (recognize local plants and insects, cook wild plants and their interest in food, garden with the living, find old and forgotten vegetables, learn about traditional fruit growing etc...) and will be a place of harvest sharing, know-how and knowledge about the living world.
