Environment and biodiversity: understanding and acting
#ForNature
In these times of Covid-19, biodiversity issues are more urgent than ever and show us that the health of the planet is linked to our health. When we destroy biodiversity, we destroy the system that sustains human life. The pandemic shows us the way to adopt new universal behaviours and enshrines the fundamental principle of planetary vital unity, namely the principle of "acting locally and thinking globally". Each of us has a role to play in ending biodiversity loss and preserving nature.
As part of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins and on the occasion of World Environment Day (5 June) promulgated by the United Nations Environment Programme, the Abbey of Fontfroide and all the invited speakers will try to sensitize everyone to the protection of the environment and to provide answers to essential questions of survival of our Planet.
An event supported by the City of Narbonne and the Tourist Development Agency of Aude.
