Having built in 1513 by Katherine Briçonnet, prettified successively by Diana de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis, Chenonceau was saved from rigours of Revolution by madam Dupin. The Castle of Chenonceau possesses an exceptional muséale collection of paintings(paints) of grand masters: Murillo, Tintoret, Nicolas Poussin, Corrège, Rubens, Primatice, Van Loo as well as one extremely rare selection of Tapestries of Flanderses of the XVIth century. Historic gardens of spirit Renaissance (5500 m2 and 1,2 hectares), a plant maze (1500m2), a Green Garden (5000 m2) and a kitchen garden of Flowers (1ha).
