The town of Septèmes-les-Vallons offers a visit to the Bastide Val Fleuri which will be exceptionally open to the public during the morning of October 18. This moment will show the exemplary rehabilitation of housing that the municipality leads. The presentation of these operations will be an opportunity to emphasize the restoration of facades, operations that are subsidized by Department 13. The Commune wishes, from this experience, to encourage the replicability of the projects carried out by the owners of the City. The site visit of the Bastide Val Fleuri will be an opportunity for Bag Architectes, the project manager responsible for the rehabilitation, to present the project by emphasizing the enhancement of the facade and the reuse of original materials.
In a second time, a second presentation by Atelier Aïno, the project management: the rehabilitation of 19 Avenue 8 May 1945. This operation is part of the exemplary rehabilitation carried out by the municipality in its village cores. The focus will be on the rehabilitation of the facade three Marseille windows, part of the ordinary heritage of the old center of the town and on the reuse of materials. So that this second "remote site visit" is alive, samples of facades and materials will be brought on site so that the public can appropriate the approach.
And to encourage this approach in the rules of the art, the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône and CAUE 13 will be present to promote the facade operation.
