Learn more:
From the mid-19th century to the second half of the 20th century, the urban and architectural history of Perpignan is as discreet as it is fascinating.
From the arrival of the railway to the demolition of the ramparts, through Art Nouveau, Art Deco and modernism, local architects have shaped a spirit of the place that deserves to be discovered.
Several generations of builders, from Viggo-Dorph Petersen to Ferid Muchir, have worked to make Perpignan a city with high quality contemporary architecture.
