During the visit of this house which was the last point of resistance for Soldiers of the Marine Infantry during the fighting of BAZEILLES on August 31 and September 1, 1870, you will walk there where 155 years ago about fifty men were stationed for this last bulwark against the Bavarian soldiers. Throughout the course you will discover objects that belonged to these brave soldiers and above all you will enter last in the rooms immortalized by the painting of Alphonse de Neuville (the last cartridges) which has kept the stigmata of this last moment.
