With more than 2,000 exhibits, the Musée du vin de Champagne et d'Archéologie régionale d'Epernay tells the story of the Champagne region, from the formation of its soil several million years ago to the champagne industry today.
Spread over three levels, the collection itinerary is structured around four visiting spaces:
* the formation of the landscape and the chalky basement of Champagne, on the ground floor;
* the history of the implantation of Men in Champagne, on the 2nd floor;
* the history of Champagne wine, on the 1st floor;
* a tribute to the patrons of the late 19th century and the Belle Époque, on the 1st floor.
