The Hotel de Vauluisant presents the collections of Champagne art of the Renaissance, known as the Beau 16th century, as well as the collections of the hosiery. The Beautiful 16th century: Painted panels, statues and stained glass windows illustrate the subtle passage from the aesthetics of the Gothic to its apogee, to that, emerging and more precious of the Renaissance. The painting reflects the Italian and Nordic influences (Assumption of the Virgin, Saint Joseph’s Dream). In sculpture, all the trends of the century are represented: Master of Chaource, Jacques Juliot, Dominique Florentin and François Gentil. The stained glass window shines with its last lights with the works of Linard Gontier (didactic exhibition).
