Founding member of The Gun Club, Kid Congo Powers also scratched for The Cramps and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. Emblematic figure of the New York underground for the past 45 years, accompanied by his Pink Monkey Birds, he now delivers a garage rock sublimated by his sorcerer incantations. His latest album 'That Delicious Vice', released in 2024 again on the fabulous label In The Red Records, marks the group’s advent as a solid (Powers) trio.

Membre fondateur de The Gun Club, Kid Congo Powers a également gratté pour The Cramps et Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. Figure emblématique de l'underground new yorkais de ces 45 dernières années, accompagné de ses Pink Monkey Birds, il livre aujourd'hui un garage rock sublimé par ses incantations de sorciers. Son dernier album “That Delicious Vice”, sorti en 2024 toujours sur le fabuleux label In The Red Records, marque l’avènement du groupe en un solide (Powers) trio.

Emblematisch figuur van de New Yorkse ondergrondse voor de afgelopen 45 jaar, vergezeld van zijn Pink Monkey Birds, levert hij nu een garage rock gesublimeerd door zijn tovenaar bezweringen. Zijn laatste album 'The Delicious Vice', dat in 2024 opnieuw op het fantastische label in The Red Records werd uitgebracht, markeert de komst van de groep als een solide (Powers)trio.
