A book to discover the History(Story) of the municipality!
Official outing(exit) of the Book devoted to the History(Story) of Aire-Sur-La-Lys, on Saturday, September 21st, 2019, on the occasion of the 36th edition(publishing) of European Heritage Days. The presentation(display) of work will take place the same day, at 4 pm, in the premises(places) of the local library(bookcase), passage of Hallettes. The project of this publication was carried by the municipality, conducted by Bruno Béthouart, outstanding professor of contemporary history(story), at the university of Coastal region Côte d'Opale, associating a collective gathering(combining) historians, archaeologists, academics …
For three years, indeed, these specialists of the different periods of the history(story) of our region, led a work mattering from research(search), from collection then from writing to offer to the readers; an until then unpublished presentation(display), of the history(story) of the city and of airois, origins in our days. The numerous subscribers who allowed the edition(publishing) of the book will be welcomed, the day of the presentation(display) of work, in the old(former) fund(collection) of the library(bookcase).
