Yalla! Family weekend
After a journey through the exhibition, participants discover Algerian traditions in the company of a henna tattoo artist, a pastry maker and the storyteller Nora Aceval.
Berber tales
Nora Aceval
The tales that Nora tells, she heard them from her childhood on the high Algerian steppes where the tale was still a social act. Her repertoire therefore comes exclusively from orality. Punctuated here and there by a tasty Arabic speaking, Nora’s stories enchant the audience. Such is the originality of this storyteller who places herself in the transmission of the beautiful tradition of naked voices.
Henna tattoos
Reshanna henna
Ancestral beauty ritual, protective or magical ritual, henna tattooing has always been practiced by Arab or Berber women. For this weekend dedicated to Algeria, we invited professional tattooists to decorate your skin with traditional patterns.
Pastry workshops
Mieline
While preparing a pastry that they can taste at home, participants discover the Algerian culinary heritage in the company of a professional pastry chef. Following the workshop, participants enjoy pastries.
