Workshop "Malle Cinéma"

The "Malle Cinéma d'Image'Est" provides collections of old shooting equipment and various formats of films on film, from amateur archives.
Investigate the different elements contained in the trunk, to address the following points: the invention of cinema, the operation of a mechanical camera, the evolution of different film formats, the projection and the difference between amateur and professional practices.
Amateur cinema often represents relatives, important moments in life, exceptional events, etc. This allows both to approach historical moments related to the territory and to associate them with what young people are filming today. There are often more commonalities than we think. The exchange can also address the question of memory and the past and present traces that we leave around us.
