True jewel of the Pays d'Auge located near Lisieux, the Château de Saint-Germain de Livet, classified as a historical monument, is remarkable for its architecture of the 15th and 16th centuries. Surrounded by a moat, it combines a half-timbered manor house and a construction in stone and glazed brick from the Pré d'Auge. The interiors of the castle are being restored and temporarily inaccessible to the public, free access to the gardens.
