The cultural heritage department of the city of Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise organizes an exhibition on the Reconstruction of the city, after the Second World War. The latter will take place at the Danvin Museum from 19 October to 27 November and will focus on the period from 1944 to 1975. Through this visit, you will be able to discover or rediscover the important reconstruction work of the city’s buildings undertaken by architects Battut and Warnesson, but also by local architects such as Henri Frey or Jean Bureau. The presentation model of Battut and Warnesson will be exhibited, as well as facsimiles of plans and testimonies. On Saturday 19 October, the opening will be held in the presence of the families of the reconstructive architects.
