Treffen auf dem britischen Friedhof von Delville Wood an der 5 Ginchy Road. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Commonwealth War Grave Commission bieten wir Ihnen einen Besuch des britischen Friedhofs und der südafrikanischen Gedenkstätte Delville wood in Longueval an. Fünf Tage und sechs Nächte lang verteidigten die Soldaten Leib und Seele das Holz des Teufels. Als Opferstätte der südafrikanischen Nation während des Ersten Weltkriegs ist es heute ein Ort der Erinnerung und des Friedens. Die CWGC präsentiert die Geschichte und die Herausforderungen der Erhaltung dieses geschichtsträchtigen Ortes.

In partnership with the Commonwealth War Grave Commission, we offer you a visit to the British Cemetery and the South African Delville Wood Memorial in Longueval. For 5 days and 6 nights the soldiers defended body and soul the wood of the devil. A place of sacrifice for the South African nation during the First World War, it is today a place of memory and peace. The CWGC will present and present the history and conservation issues of this site steeped in history.
