ICR Paris and Pro Patrimonio France are pleased to invite you to the exhibition «The thermal and seaside heritage of Romania: past and future» an exploration of this heritage highlighting the history of these resorts. This heritage, now in transformation, whose architectural, economic and social impact has been considerable, should become important again. Discover the evolution of the remarkable and historic places that are Băile Herculane, Băile Govora, Câmpulung and the Romanian coast of the Black Sea and how they evolve to meet contemporary needs, and how society tries to preserve this unique cultural heritage. Perfect for history buffs and those interested in the rebirth of heritage sites, this exhibition provides insight into their process of conservation, preservation and enhancement. The exhibition presents a collection of documents, photographs, short films, current case studies and best practices. Curated by Caroline d'Assay, President of Pro Patrimonio France, with the collaboration of two French Heritage architects, Alina Jornea-Tataru and Paul Stancioiu, this exhibition is part of the third edition of the program «Heritage cycle» ICR Paris, which focuses on the role of civil society in the safeguarding and enhancement of Romanian heritage.
