Built in the mid-19th century by Captain Noël, this tower was completed by a battery in 1875\. Abandoned after the first world war, it was rehabilitated after the Second World War as a place of remembrance for the liberation of Toulon and designated in 1963 to host the Provence Landing Memorial in 1944\. Place of historical evocation, the memorial pays tribute to the fighters with exhibitions and a film.
