Guided tour of the park and Elodie Boutry's "Hosta" installation
Discover the heritage of the Matmut - Daniel Havis Contemporary Art Centre through an itinerary between the theme gardens of the park, the monumental works that dot them and the castle.
During your guided tour by a cultural mediator, you will learn more about the history of this jewel of regional architecture made in a neo-Louis XIII style and composed of bricks, stones and flint cut like a mosaic.
To make the link between the old constructions and the new ones, the excursion in the park will continue in the charreterie invested by the Norman artist Elodie Boutry. It proposes an installation made of a set of different columns that form a network of cells like a honeycomb. The name of the installation "Hosta" refers to the plants that are at the top of some columns and connect the interior of the charreterie and the exterior of the park.
