Also called «Villa des deux médecins», this sister villa with perfect symmetry is characteristic of thermal and seaside architecture. The central body is flanked by two identical pavilions. The villa was built to accommodate two medical offices. The residential part was at the back of the house. The names of the saints, Marie and Louis, refer to Louis Bouloumié, founder of the station and, to Marie, his wife. This is where the «camp of internees» began. The plaque affixed to the house recalls this dramatic episode: from 1941 to 1944, more than 3000 foreign civilians or living on French soil were interned on the thermal site.
The villa was built by architect André Colin in 1912.
