Place Michel Picard is part of the entire railway city of Sausheim street in Mulhouse: it is a green space that was intended for the well-being of railway workers. This city is composed of 29 houses built by the Railways of Alsace-Lorraine in 1925-1926\. Seven others were added by SNCF in 1946\. This remarkable ensemble is particularly well preserved.
