Exceptionally open for the European Heritage Days, the former imperial palace opens its most beautiful rooms. The DRAC Grand Est (Ministry of Culture) has many surprises for an exceptional VIP visit: this theatrical tour combines heritage and historical discoveries and artistic impromptus .... and maybe take you to the night!
The Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs thanks the Opéra national du Rhin for the loan of costumes free of charge and the Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine for its collaboration.

Built from 1883 till 1889 by Hermann Eggert, the old(former) German imperial palace joins at the heart of Neustadt of Strasbourg. Historical monument property of the State, the Palace of the Rhine is " national domain " since May 4th, 2017\. He(It) is the Big(Great) seat(siege) of DRAC is (Ministry of Culture) and of the Central commission for navigation on the Rhine. He(It) also shelters the Service(Department) of the Inventory of the cultural heritage (region). The park is not currently open to the public because of works of putting in accessibility; the old(former) stables (on the corner of the streets of the marshal brother and of the marshal Foch) are only visible from the outside.
