La Mère-Eglise, of Romanesque architecture, is located in the village of Saint Disdier in Le Dévoluy. Built in the 11th century, it is one of the oldest chapels in the Hautes-Alpes! Witness to the implantation of monastic life in a mountain environment, she is also one of the representatives of modest proportions of Romanesque art.
