The Granet museum, cultural institution of the Community of the Country of Aix, offers on more than 4000 m2 a large crossing of artistic creation since Antiquity, the collections of French painting(paint) (The brothers Dwarf, Ingres, Granet), Scandinavian (Rembrandt, Rubens) and Italian (the master(teacher) of Flémalle) the from XVIth centuries till XIXth centuries up to the masterpieces of modern and contemporary art. The museum presents splendid donation so Philippe Meyer «Of Cézanne in Giacometti». The room devoted to Cézanne shelters ten masterpieces among which the recent acquisition, the Portrait of Emile Zola. In 2010, has come be added for 15 years the invaluable collection Stash established(constituted) of about 300 heads - of work.
