A jewel of the Alpine heritage, the Chapelle des Pétètes is a symbol of local folk art. Since the XVIIIth century, the small statuettes with the naive expression which decorate its facade give to this building a singularity and an unparalleled charm. This building is one of the most curious and charming of the Champsaur, the small white statues with round faces and poupins that adorn its facade, have given it an unusual name because in fact, "Pétètes" translates as "dolls" in local dialect. The interior houses a recently restored 17th-century altarpiece. The chapel has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1994.
