Between 1329 and 1350, the Livrée Ceccano, today a municipal library, occupies a prominent place in the heritage of Avignon. Built in the 14th century, to be the palace of the Cardinal of Ceccano, it housed from the 16th century the Jesuit college. It was only in 1960, after various occupations, that it was restored. One can admire splendid painted ceilings as well as the diversity of its ancient collections.
