Um der Antike willen: Schluss mit der Renaissance/ Hommage an Paul Veyne Vom 28. Juni bis 1. Oktober 2023
Als Hommage an Paul Veyne zeigt die Ausstellung eine Dauerausstellung der Liebe des Altertums durch eine reiche Reise von Werken aus allen Epochen, außergewöhnlichen Leihgaben, Aufträgen an Künstler, in zwei historischen Denkmälern auf rhizomatische Weise als Kuriositätenkabinett und imaginäres Museum: ein antikes polyphonisches, kaleidoskopisches und humanistisches Museum, das in allen seinen Gattungen präsentiert wird.

Paying tribute to Paul Veyne, the exhibition highlights a permanent love of the Antique through a rich journey of works from all eras, exceptional loans, commissions to artists, in two historical monuments on a rhizomatic mode of cabinet of curiosities and imaginary museum: an ancient polyphonic, kaleidoscopic and humanist declined under all its genres.

Rendendo omaggio a Paul Veyne, la mostra mette in evidenza una permanenza dell'amore dell'Antico attraverso un percorso ricco di opere di ogni epoca, di prestiti eccezionali, di commissioni agli artisti, in due monumenti storici in un modo rizomatico di gabinetto di curiosità e di museo immaginario: un antico polifonico, caleidoscopico e umanista declinato in tutti i suoi generi.
