The department is proud to host the exhibition History, Sport and Citizenship from May 16 to September 30, 2023 May, made and loaned by CASDEN, the cooperative bank of the Civil Service, partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. CASDEN premium partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024, has initiated this program «History, sport and citizenship» to support the promotion of sport at school and the values of Olympism, offer an exceptional story on 125 years of history around exceptional sports and sports. This program, which is part of the «Heritage» component of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, is placed under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic and benefits from the «Cultural Olympiad» label awarded by Paris 2024. This program includes an exhibition of 30 panels highlighting 30 exceptional destinies and 30 civic values. It also includes a “https://casedenhistoiresport.fr/” site with additional content and educational booklets. It is a tribute to the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games and their contribution to society between 1896 and 2024. It is free of charge and offers the opportunity to learn about this important event in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
