In addition, a documentary on his life and work, Le génie et le voile, will be screened on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. (Duration: 54 mn). A painter, draughtsman, engraver and master glassmaker, Mère Geneviève Gallois (1888-1962) is a multifaceted artist, extraordinarily talented. She joined the Benedictines in Paris in 1917 and composed a vast work, often mixing text with images, making the most modest moments of everyday life shine through, constantly oscillating between gravity, humour and deep jubilation.
