Dance and Performance in situ of the exhibition Le Laboratoire de Téléportation
Dance and Performance in situ by the dancer and choreographer Ana Eulate
As part of the exhibition Le Laboratoire de Téléportation.
With the installation Le laboratoire de téléportation, Marilène Vigroux plays Frankenstein with space. The starting point is the map of the city center of Aix-en-Provence, threads sewn on fabric, without taking a measure of length, angle or depth in a game with the insituable. This act of de-placement is an attempt to place space, to patch space with space. Ivy comes to mingle, nicknamed the thread of the devil or the plant witches. Ivy (helix hedera, being tied and twisting, going wrong) is the plant of Dionysus and its bacchanales. From its berries the artist will make teleportation ink. Playing Frankenstein with space becomes giving life to space and considering space as a form of life.
