Dance and performance in situ
Dance and performance in situ from 11am for the exhibition The teleportation laboratory, by Marilène Vigroux: "With the installation The teleportation laboratory, Marilène Vigroux plays in Frankenstein with space. The starting point is the map of the city center of Aix-en-Provence, threads sewn on fabric, without taking any measure of length, angle or depth in a game with the insituable, an act of de-placement in the very attempt to place the space, to patch space with space. Ivy, nicknamed the devil’s thread or the witches' plant, comes to mingle. The ivy, hedera helix, being tied and twisting, going wrong, is the plant of Dionysus and its bacchanals. From its bays the artist will make ink teleportation. Playing Frankenstein with space becomes giving life to space, considering space as a life form."
